START WITH THE SYMPTOMS
A cracked screen, lines across the picture or a display that flickers can make a laptop difficult to use. Tell us the model and what you can see. We diagnose the fault before quoting for parts. Replacement screens are fitted the same day the part arrives; that is the fitting time, rather than a promise that every screen is already in stock.
If your laptop will not charge or turn on, bring it in for diagnosis. A power problem can need a different repair from a damaged screen or a software fault. We explain what we find and quote for any parts or further work, so you can decide whether the repair makes sense for you.
We also help with MacBooks. Let us know the model and the symptoms, whether that is a screen problem, slow performance or a laptop that will not start. The diagnosis and quote give you the next step without committing you to further work. Ask us about your particular MacBook before making a journey if you are unsure.
If the laptop has become slow, describe when it happens and what you use it for. We offer upgrades and virus removal alongside repairs. We fit established SSD brands only. An upgrade is quoted before work starts, and the price guide below shows the virus removal fee. We can discuss which option suits your laptop.
Some faults need motherboard work. The usual price range is £59.99–£119.99 including VAT, with a usual turnaround of 3 to 5 working days. We confirm the fault and quote before further work. This guide is separate from a promise about the cost or collection date of an individual laptop.

Bring your laptop to the shop during opening hours and tell us what has gone wrong. We carry out the diagnosis, include a simple repair within that fee where possible, and explain any further work. If you go ahead with a laptop or PC repair, the diagnosis is included in the repair price. You choose whether to accept the quote, then collect the device after the agreed repair.
