DESKTOPS, UPGRADES & SOFTWARE
We repair desktop computers and help with upgrades and software problems at our shop in Fenny Stratford, Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Diagnosis costs £39.99 including VAT and includes a simple repair where that is all your PC needs; we confirm further costs and timing after diagnosis.
Walk in during opening hours. Further work quoted before you decide.
START WITH THE SYMPTOMS
Tell us what happens when you press the power button: whether there are lights, a picture or nothing at all. We diagnose the fault before agreeing the repair with you. A desktop that will not start does not automatically need replacing, but the right next step depends on what we find.
A slow PC can interrupt work, gaming or everyday tasks. Let us know when it slows down and whether it also overheats or switches off. We offer troubleshooting and upgrades, with any parts or further work quoted first. You can then weigh up the proposed repair against how you use the computer.
We offer SSD and RAM upgrades and can help with a graphics card upgrade. We fit established SSD brands only. Tell us about your current PC and what you want it to do better. Ask us for a quote for the parts and fitting, or use the Custom PCs page if you are considering a whole new build.
We offer Windows reinstalls, software troubleshooting and virus removal. Describe any error messages and what changed before the problem started. We agree further work before proceeding. If keeping particular files is important, tell us before the work begins so we can discuss the job with you; back up important files first where possible.
If the problem involves files you cannot access, we offer a free initial data recovery assessment. Recovery starts from £39.99 including VAT and is carried out by a specialist partner rather than in the shop. We arrange recovery when you ask us to and explain the quote before recovery work goes ahead.
If bringing the PC in is difficult, home visits cost £99 including VAT and are arranged in advance. We cover Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Northampton and Towcester. Remote support and monthly plans are also available, with the scope and price agreed before work starts. Contact us to discuss what would help.
